Enjoy beautiful Cotswold’s countryside and magnificent views by taking a very picturesque walk which starts right outside our cottage!

The walk features views of Jackdaws Castle, our big neighbour across the road from The Plough Inn, and the Gallops. Jackdaws Castle is set in 500 acres of glorious Cotswolds countryside and arguably the finest training facility in British jump racing. 

Jackdaws Castle is the base of trainer Jonjo O’Neill. As a rider, Jonjo O’Neill won the Cheltenham Gold Cup with Dawn Run and remains the only person to have won a hundred races in a season both as a jockey and a trainer. If you are lucky, you might see jockeys riding along the gallops – or even meet them later at the Plough Inn!
